My Approach

       Our journeys begin within ourselves. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), i work to grow the light from within, place great emphasis on therapeutic relationships, and work to foster growth. Together, we can build an understanding of your life experiences, stressors and triumphs to bring you closer to your goals. We can work together to help you live more in line with your values and find what matters most to you. I practice from a person-centered approach using therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution focused approaches, compassion focused approaches and animal assisted therapy. I have worked with all ages and in many settings such as: inpatient acute psychiatric care, in home therapy, individuals in outpatient settings and Community Based Acute Care. I specialize in symptoms of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, chronic stress, grief, ADHD, neurodivergence, individual and family therapy. Supporting you with the big things or even the little things that you want to address such as lifestyle changes, loss, goal setting, esteem building and self-fulfillment.

       As an equestrian, a portion of my practice is allocated to supporting fellow equestrians and their various engagement within the equine community. Whether you are a beginner struggling with confidence, a horse owner working through the changes of your relationship with your horse(s) as they age, or a competitive rider who is looking for some support to maintain competitive edge. We can work together to build confidence, self-esteem and to process challenging events in the equine community.
